Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to consultancy, training and service improvement support provided by ClearMind Care Consultancy Ltd.

1. About us

ClearMind Care Consultancy Ltd provides specialist dementia behaviour support, consultancy, staff training and service improvement support for care providers.

2. Scope of services

We may provide:

  • Consultancy advice
  • Behavioural formulation and care planning support
  • Staff training and education
  • Service improvement audits, reviews and reports

We do not:

  • Provide medical diagnosis
  • Prescribe or administer medication
  • Assume responsibility for clinical decision-making

All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the client and their relevant healthcare professionals.

3. Booking and payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure booking and agreed dates
  • The remaining balance is payable on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Payment terms are 14 days from invoice date

Late payments may be subject to statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 28 days before the scheduled service will not incur a charge
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 28 days before the scheduled service will be charged at 50% of the agreed fee
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled service will be charged at 100% of the agreed fee

Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion, but this is not guaranteed and does not affect liability for the original fee.

5. Delivery of services

We will deliver services using reasonable skill and care, in line with relevant professional standards and good practice in dementia care.

We are not responsible for how recommendations are implemented by the client, or for outcomes resulting from implementation or non-implementation of advice.

6. Liability

ClearMind Care Consultancy Ltd provides advice and recommendations based on professional knowledge and the information made available at the time.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Confidentiality

We will treat information shared with us as confidential and handle it in line with applicable data protection law.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that any information shared with us is shared lawfully and with an appropriate legal basis.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, materials produced by ClearMind Care Consultancy Ltd remain our intellectual property.

Clients may use materials internally for their own service, but may not reproduce, distribute or sell them externally without permission.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate agreed work in writing.

The client remains liable for any work completed up to the date of termination, along with any applicable cancellation fees.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
